Focus of a Parabola

Find the coordinates of the focus and length of latus rectum for parabola y² = 12x.

Calculation Steps:

  1. 1Compare with standard form y² = 4ax: 4a = 12 => a = 3.
  2. 2Focus coordinates = (a, 0) = (3, 0).
  3. 3Length of latus rectum = 4a = 12.
