Inverse Proportion Solver

If 12 workers can build a wall in 30 hours, how many hours will 18 workers take?

Calculation Steps:

  1. 1Determine relation: More workers means less time (Inverse Proportion).
  2. 2Apply formula: x₁ * y₁ = x₂ * y₂.
  3. 3Substitute: 12 * 30 = 18 * y₂ => 360 = 18 * y₂.
  4. 4Divide: y₂ = 360 / 18 = 20 hours.
