Applying Distributive Property

Calculate: 12 * 35.

Calculation Steps:

  1. 1Rewrite 35 as (30 + 5).
  2. 2Apply distributive rule: 12 * (30 + 5) = 12 * 30 + 12 * 5.
  3. 3Multiply: 12 * 30 = 360, 12 * 5 = 60.
  4. 4Add: 360 + 60 = 420.
