Formatting Layout Blocks

The primary recipient's email address (e.g. manager@store.com).
Cc (Carbon Copy)
Addresses of other recipients who need to be kept in the loop.
Bcc (Blind Carbon Copy)
Addresses of recipients whose identities are hidden from others.
Subject Line
A very brief, action-oriented header (e.g., Application for Intern Position).
Salutation & Body
Greeting followed by concise, structured body paragraphs. Use bullet points for readability.
Sign-off & Signature block
Sign-off phrase, sender's name, designation, and contact info.
Essential Rules to Follow
- •Be Concise: Keep paragraphs short. Break information into logical bullet points when requesting actions.
- •Appropriate Subject: Make the subject line specific. Never send an email with a blank subject.
- •Digital Tone: Formal emails should avoid casual shortcuts (pls, thx, ttyl) and emojis.
